F.P Report

PESHAWAR: The 79 sacked security guards of Chirat Cement Factory (CCF) on Saturday castigated the officials who expelled them without any reasons and asked Chief Justice of Supreme Court and Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan and Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak to reinstate them on their earlier positions to feed their families.

Expressing grave concern over injustice and expulsion from jobs, angry protestors came hard on relevant officials of factor for discriminating them and removing from their jobs. They gathered at Sher Shah Soori Road opposite cantonment area, chanted full throat slogans against those concerned officials of CCF who had sacked them from their employments.

Protestors while holding banners and placards inscribed with slogans in favor of their demands.

Speaking to media men, they informed that 79 security guards among five permanent, have been sacked by administration of Chirat Cement Factory in which some of them have served the factory from two to 30 years. Raising questions over dismissals, they clearly said they have neither been issued notices nor any other legal requirements before expelling them.

Expelling security guards from their services is against the labor law and it is against the basic rights of them, they said and adding they will continue raising voice for their rights till restoration on their previous positions. The move has created monetary hurdles not for 79 security guards but for 79 families, they added.

Neither they are involved in criminal activities nor violated the rules and regulations but they were sacked on conspiracy of labor union in factory, they alleged. They added they will not accept the anti-security guards decision and will agitate against it.

They asked Chief Justice SC, Chairman Imran Khan Pakistan Tereek e Insaaf, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to take notice of their expulsion and restore them as soon as possible as they are bread-winners for their homes. Protestors claimed they would stage protest sit-in before Provincial Assembly and Supreme Court for their rights.

If they are not reinstated in aftermath of protests, they clearly said they would come on roads to record protest demonstrations against administration officials of Cherat Cement Factory till restoration.
