LAHORE: Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani reached Lahore on a train as it was his first visit to the provincial capital since he took oath of Senate chairmanship.
Sadiq Sanjrani travel to Lahore from the federal capital in Rail Car train on Sunday morning.
The visit of senate chairman was drop of hope as most of the political leaders mostly travel in aeroplane and other VIPs options but Sanjrani break the tradition and travel from Islamabad to Lahore in a train.
Chief Executive Officer of Railways, Javed Anwar welcomed Sadiq Sanjrani and other members of the department at the Lahore railway station.
Sanjrani told media that he is visiting Lahore to pay a visit to the tomb of Allama Iqbal and Data Darbar on Monday morning.
