Salang blaze: Bodies of 6 unidentified victims still kept at Forensic Dept

KABUL (Pajhwok): Six unidentified bodies from the Salang fire incident were still kept in the Forensic Department, the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said asking people to refer to the department for the identification of these bodies.
Last year in December, an oil tanker overturned in the Salang tunnel after which a fire was broke out and 70 people were killed and injured because the fire engulfed some other vehicles as well.
In a statement the MoPH announced that six unidentified bodies were still kept in the Forensic Department
and its registration number is 703-702-701-700-699.
The statement said that earlier similar announcement had been made but nobody referred to the forensic department to collect their bodies therefore the ministry again urged the relatives of these unidentified bodies to refer to the forensic department and collect the bodies of their relatives.
