MUMBAI: On Wednesday, Salman Khan ended speculations of an Eid 2020 clash with Akshay Kumar’s Sooryavanshi and his Inshallah by announcing that the Dharma film will now release on 27 Match 2020. Looks like Inshallah, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and co-starring Alia Bhatt, will now have a solo run during next Eid Salman made the announcement by sharing a picture with Rohit Shetty along with a caption that read, “I always thought of him as my younger brother and today he proves it… #RohitShetty. Sooryavanshi releasing on 27th March 2020”
Rohit Shetty’s response to this gesture has fuelled speculation that Salman will be the latest entrant to his cop universe after Ajay Devgn (Singham), Ranveer Singh (Simmba) and Akshay Kumar (Sooryavanshi). The director commented, “You can compete with the world but not with your family… See you soon Chulbul Pandey!”
Recently, Salman had expressed his admiration for Rohit Shetty’s work and suggested a crossover between the Singham and Dabangg in the future. Salman will next be seen in Dabangg 3 which is set to release during Christmas 2019.
