Sammy, Amla meet seminary students Give tips to Madrassa Cricket League players

ISLAMABAD: Seminary students and their colleagues Thursday met Peshawar Zalmi team captain Darren Sammy and Peshawar Zalmi mentor Hashim Amla and played cricket with them.

Students and talba of Zalmi Madrasa Cricket League, going to be held under Zalmi Foundation, met the Peshawar Zalim squad captain Darren Sammy and legend cricketer of South Africa Hashim Amla here at Shalimar ground in Islamabad and enjoyed playing cricket with them.

The students and other talbas asked various questions about cricket and showed interest in interaction with Darren Sammy and exclusively with Hashim Amla.

On the occasion, Hashim Amla and Darren Amla said that they were pleased that Zalmi Foundation successfully held the Zalmi Madrassa League twice and the students of seminary participated in the league.

Hashim Amla took special interest in seminary students to know their daily life details and also gave them tips on cricket.

In his message, Chairman of Peshawar Zalmi said that successfully holding Zalmi Madrassa League in Peshawar and Balochistan has given a positive message to the world.

He added that legends like Darren Sammy and Hashim Amla meet the students and encourage all students of seminary to receive sports education and knowledge along with their regular education.
