Sara Ali Khan reveals reason behind walking out of Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal 2

Monitoring Desk

MUMBAI: There was a strong buzz that Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan would be starring in Love Aaj Kal 2 helmed by ace director Imtiaz Ali. Rumours further suggested that Sara will be seen with dad Saif Ali Khan in the film but looks like these are mere speculations.

Sara made a powerful debut with Abhishek Kapoor’s Kedarnath and later starred in Rohit Shetty’s Simmba opposite Ranveer Singh. Considering Sara’s career has started with a high, the beauty has been getting offers left, right and centre and it would be interesting which one she picks. Speaking of Love Aaj Kal 2, the latest we hear that Sara has walked out of the film. In Love Aaj Kal 2, Sara and Kartik would have come together for the first time but we are guessing that’s not happening for now.

According to a latest report in a leading tabloid, the reason why Sara walked out of the film is its script. No official statement has come from Sara on the same. Meanwhile, the actress recently spoke about working with dad Saif Ali Khan in an interview. Sara said, “I’d love to do a film with Abba. But, the film and our characters must justify our presence. We can’t do a film for doing’s sake,”
