MUMBAI: Sara Ali Khan is gradually becoming the poster girl for the next generation of actors in B-town. She’s proved she’s here for the lang haul after her much appreciated performance in debut film Kedarnath and then in Simmba last year.

With two films already in her success card, Sara Ali Khan is being considered for several upcoming films. While on the table for her next is Imtiaz Ali’s film with Kartik Aaryan, rumour had it that she was considered for Ahmed Khan’s Baaghi 3 opposite Tiger Shroff.

Following the news of the third instalment, a little birdie informed that Sara had turned down the film because of very less screen time. While the actress never spoke of the film publicly, a source close to the makers of the film said that she was never even considered for the role. Talking about the film, the source revealed, “Sajid and Ahmed are baffled at reports of Sara having turned down the movie as she was never approached for it. Ahmed had met Sara only once, months before the release of Kedarnath (2018). At the time, the script of Baaghi 3 was still being worked upon. In fact, Tiger has not had a narration of the final script yet as it is still in the writing stage. Among the actresses, the makers are keen on Shraddha and Disha. The former has been approached for the role. If the dates and remunerations work out, Shraddha will reunite with Tiger after their 2016 hit.”

Ahmed Khan also told a leading daily that he has only been considering Shraddha or Disha for the role because of their earlier association with the franchise.
