F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Iftikhar Durrani, has said that the ‘save corruption’ movements were being commenced in the country.

Iftikhar Durrani, while responding to Khursheed Shah, Bakhtawar Bhutto and Abid Sher Ali, said that attempts to secure ‘uncle’ and ‘father’ from being caught over looting national treasury.

He added that the persons, who have lived only for corruption, were criticising Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Durrani said that Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari’s sources of information were ‘very limited and poor”. It seemed that she did not has access to information except the knowledge being given with the permission of [her father] Asif Ali Zardari. He added that Khursheed Shah was also forced to deliver such statements.

He advised Abid Sher Ali should read out court’s verdict before levelling baseless allegations against PM Khan. He added that the Supreme Court (SC) had declared Imran Khan as “Sadiq and Ameen”.

Earlier in the day, the daughter of former president and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, lashed out at the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Prime Minister Imran Khan in her Twitter message.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Syed Khursheed Shah has took a swipe at the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) today, saying the poor people are reeling under inflation owing to the government’s “failed” economic policies.

Speaking at an event, he said PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would lead a train march from Rohri to Rawalpindi on March 27, adding that the march was aimed at pulling the people out of suffering. “This march is for the people’s rights and against corruption,” claimed Shah.

The PPP leader said inflation was taking a heavy toll on the country.
