SBP Services Corporation union elects new cabinet

PESHAWAR: Democratic Workers Union has achieved a historic victory in the fifth industrial-wise referendum of the State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation, on Saturday.

Democratic Workers Union candidates elected named Muntazim Shah as Chairman and Liaqat Ali Sahi has been elected as the General Secretary respectively. The cabinet is including of president as Aamir Khan, Shafqat Ullah Waraich as Additional General Secretary, and Ghulam Hasan Wahla elected as Patron in Chief.

Newly elected general secretary of State Bank of Pakistan Banking Services Corporation and Labor representative Liaqat Ali Sahi said that this victory is a result of their ideological struggle and the credit goes to the workers. He assured that the cabinet will fulfill the trust of all contract workers and play a positive role in the institution.

The speaker claimed that Democratic Workers Union always struggled for the fundamental and constitutional rights of workers in the light of constitution. The new cabinet will solve all the problems and establish the rule of law in the institution.
