ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court will announce its reserved judgment in disqualification case against Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairperson Imran Khan and its Secretary General Jahangir Tareen on Friday at 1400 hours.
The petition was filed by Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz Leader Hanif Abbasi seeking and Imran Khan and Jahangir Tareen’s disqualification for the non-disclosure of their assets and ownership of offshore companies.
He alleged that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leaders did not declare their assets to the Election Commission of Pakistan and violated the income Tax Ordinance, 1979 and Peoples Act, 1974 and also claimed that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) was a ‘foreign-funded’ party.
On October 18, the chief justice announced that the verdict of both the cases would be given together.
