Islamabad: Supreme Court (SC) rejected the appeal of Anchorperson Dr. Shahid Masood for withdrawal of case, and issued notices to a private TV channel and sought reply till Saturday.
SC also directed to provide the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) report copies to Dr. Shahid Masood. Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) remarked that Dr. Shahid Masood wasted another opportunity, now the issue would not be disposed off on apology, justice prevailed Wednesday a three member bench headed by CJP Saqib Nisar heard the case, Dr. Shahid Masood appeared before the apex court along with his counsel Shah Khawar.
Addressing Dr. Shahid Masood, CJP said “In your programme you said that you should be hanged if your allegations are proven incorrect.”
