SC to resume hearing of Imran disqualification case
ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court will resume hearing on Monday of the disqualification case of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.
Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar headed the three judge bench including Justice Faisal Arab and Justice Umar Ata Bandial.
Leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Hanif Abbasi filed a case in the Supreme Court for disqualification of Imran Khan and Jehangir Tareen for violating the income tax ordinance and Peoples act by not declaring their assets. It also terms the PTI as “foreign funded party”.
