School watchman shot dead in Lakki Marwat

LAKKI MARWAT: A school’s watchman was killed in Nar Muhammad Yar Sulemankhel village in the limits of Shaheed Asmatullah Khan police station of Naurang own on Sunday night.

Police said that Muhammad Yousaf shot and killed Muhammad Younas while he was on night duty in the village’s government primary school. They said that the killer escaped after the incident.

The complainant Muhammad Isarar told police in his preliminary report that he and his brothers Muhammad Ishaq and Muhammad Saboor had gone to the school at about 8:00pm to discuss a domestic issue with Muhammad Younas.

“In the meantime, Muhammad Yousaf came there and started uttering abusive words for Younas and then he shot him wounded with AK 47 assault rifle”, he maintained, saying that the attacker also sprayed us with bullets but we miraculously escaped.

The complainant further told police that Muhammad Yousaf succumbed to injuries on way to hospital in Bannu district. Police registered a case against the killer under section 302 (premeditated murder) and 324 (attempted murder) and began investigation.
