Section 144 imposed in Rawalpindi for public safety

RAWALPINDI: In light of the prevailing law and order situation, Section 144 has been enforced in Rawalpindi city. A notification in this regard has been issued.

According to the notification, Section 144 will remain in effect from November 8 to 10.

The notification stated that during this period, all forms of public gatherings, including meetings, processions, and rallies, will be prohibited.

Additionally, the display of arms will be strictly banned, and extra security measures will be implemented to maintain peace and order in the city.
