Seizing Dar’s surety bond: Accountability adjourns hearing till Dec 4

ISLAMABAD: The accountability court hearing the corruption against Ishaq Dar adjourned the hearing till December 4 regarding to seizure the surety bond of former finance minister Ishaq Dar.

The accountability court resumes hearing on Wednesday and the Ishaq Dar’s guarantor Ahmed Ali Qudoosi was not present in the court and later the court take a break to give time to Qudoosi to appear in the court.

Later he was appeared in the court and demanded more time from court to produce the senator Ishaq Dar in court.

Qudoosi told court that Ishaq Dar is not in the country as he is in London for medical treatment and demanded more time to produce him in the court.

However, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Prosecutor, Imran Shafique opposed the request and adding that the court already given enough time to the accused already.

Qudoosi informed the court that he is going to London to inquire the health of former finance minister and demanded three to four weeks from court and adding in this time the former finance minister will probably be able to appear in the court and face the corroption case against him.

However, the judge ruled that further proceedings on the seizure of the bond will take place on December 4, when the court will hear the main case again.
