Selena Gomez goes make-up free as she arrives in London
LONDON: She reportedly suffered a ‘panic attack’ before taking the stage at the American Music Awards last week.
And Selena Gomez kept a low-profile as she touched down at Heathrow Airport in London on Monday.
The singer, 27, went make-up free as she toted a large white duffel bag with gold straps and donned a pair of chic clear framed glasses.
Selena cut a fashionable figure in her comfortable travel outfit of black sweatpants and a scoop neck t-shirt with a slight scallop detail.
The actress turned singer appeared to be make-up free as she touched down in London and completed her look with some black trainers.
She wore her brunette tresses perfectly styled into slight waves for the journey and let them cascade over her shoulders.
As Selena made her way to a car she tried to shield her eyes from the sun by lifting an arm to her face.
It comes after Selena reportedly suffered a ‘panic attack’ before taking the stage at the American Music Awards, nearly two years since her last live performance.
The singer was ‘putting a lot of pressure on herself’ ahead of her return to the stage as the opener of the show, according to E! News.
‘Selena definitely had anxiety and a panic attack before she went out and was putting a lot of pressure on herself,’ a source reported.
Fans were somewhat concerned during her performance as she ‘appeared overcome with emotion’ while on stage.
Gomez hadn’t seen the bright lights of the AMAs since 2017, and last Sunday night was also her first live performance in two years.
She rocked a long-sleeved, figure-hugging black dress before changing into a mirrored corset to perform her two new songs.
Lose You to Love Me is reportedly about her ex Justin Bieber, while the Look at Her Now ballad is an ode to overcoming obstacles.
‘Feels good to be back,’ she wrote on Instagram. ‘Thank you to my entire team and to my fans that stand by me. All of this is for you and because of you. excited for this chapter #sg2 @amas.’
