Senior lawyer gunned down in Quetta

QUETTA: A senior lawyer of the Supreme Court was gunned down in Quetta on Tuesday.

According to police, the deceased was identified as Abdul Razzaq Advocate and was targeted near Aalmo Chowk on Airport Road.

Razzaq’s  body was shifted to Civil Hospital for post-mortem.

A large number of lawyers has arrived at the hospital to inquire about the incident.

Police registered a case against unidentified suspects and launched investigation.

In reaction, the Quetta Bar Association has denounced the murder of senior Supreme Court lawyer.

The Bar has announced that all lawyers will boycott courts on Wednesday (tomorrow) and no lawyer will appear in any district or civil court.
