Shahbaz Sharif inaugurates motorcycle ambulance service

LAHORE: Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif has said that government is trying to provide maximum facilities to the masses in the field of health.

This he said while inaugurating the motorcycle ambulance service on Tuesday and it the motorcycle ambulance service will be operated by the Punjab emergency service-Rescue 1122.

CM Shahbaz Sharif said on the occasion that motorcycle ambulance was started with the aim to provide service to these areas where a proper ambulance cannot go in case of emergency.

The first phase of the service in being launched with the 900 responders and it will spread across the province later.

The Punjab chief minister said that these rescuers will be able to administer first aid and will also alert the ambulance so it can meet them at the nearest location.

Congratulating Rescue 1122 DG Dr Rizwan Naseer, the chief minister said that the project was materialized in just six to seven months.
