LAHORE: The funeral prayers of Shaheed Second Lieutenant Abdul Moeed Shaheed were offered with full honors at Ayub Stadium Lahore and later he was buried at the Cavalry Ground graveyard.
As per detail, two personnel of Pakistan Army identified as Moeed and Sepoy Basharat, were martyred in a terrorist firing on their vehicle in North Waziristan on Monday.
Senior Army officers and political leaders were present in the funeral prayers.
While talking to private news channel father of Shaheed Moeed said that he is proud that his son has given his lives for the motherland and we will continue to sacrifice our lives for safety of our country.
Moeed had recently graduated from the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), Kakul, while Basharat had three years of military service, the ISPR statement added.
