KARACHI (Monitoring Desk): Former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson said on Wednesday that he could not wait to “reconnect with” West Indies’ batting great Sir Vivian Richards, in the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020.
“I can’t wait to be back with Quetta Gladiators for another season of PSL. One of my true highlights is to being around with one of my heroes, Sir Vivian Richards,” he said.
“I can’t wait to reconnect with him at another season of the PSL,” Watson said.
The Quetta Gladiators’ all rounder also added that he has a list of questions to ask to the side’s mentor.
“I have got a lot more questions to ask him, so I can’t wait,” Watson said.
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old praised Gladiators owner Nadeem Omar for his guidance in the team.
“Nadeem Omar is putting his heart and soul into Quetta Gladiators, he continues to help the next generation of Pakistan Cricket,” he said.
