KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) provincial Lawmaker and former provincial information minister, Sharjeel Inam Memon criticized the double standard of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
Memom said this while addressing to the Sindh Assembly session on Wednesday.
Earlier, Sharjeel Memon reached the Sindh Assembly premises in a police escort to attend the session on Wednesday.
Memon said in his address that the NAB has double standard and they are targeting only the PPP without any proves and completing the legal procedure which deplorable.
Memon, was arrested by NAB in a Rs5.7 billion corruption case and he was taken by authorities from the lockup to the assembly amid high security as he is on judicial remand until November 4.
Earlier, the assembly’s secretariat sent a letter to the authorities concerned to ensure that the arrested former provincial information minister could attend the assembly’s session.
