Shaukat Tarin replaces Hammad Azhar as finance minister

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan Friday once again reshuffled his cabinet with a major focus on the economy.

Shaukat Tarin has been appointed the new Federal Finance Minister who replaces Hamad Azhar.

Hamad Azhar, who has been recently appointed Finance Minister in place of Hafeez Sheikh has been appointed as Minister for Power. He replaced Omar Ayub who has been given the portfolio of the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

Fawad Chaudhary and Shibli Faraz have also switched the ministries with each other as Fawad has again become Information Minster and Shibli Faraz has been appointed Minister for Science and Technology.

Khusro Bakhtiar, who was working as a Federal Minister of Economic Affairs, has been appointed as Minister of Industries and Production.
