Shaukat warns action against anti-polio conspiracy

PESHAWAR: Provincial Minister for Information, Shaukat Ali Yousufzai said no vaccine, including polio, could be used without any test, more than  25,000 children were brought to the hospital, but no one was diagnosed with any polio drops.

Strict action would be taken against people who  are involved in conspiracy against polio, Shaukat Yousafzai said that  all the world eliminated polio except  Pakistan, Afghanistan and  Nigeria. Being a nuclear country, Pakistan is getting bad name due to  polio throughout the world. He said that the false drama against polio  started as a conspiracy from a private school and spread it as a rumor. 

Due to the positive behavior of the media, its drop line was possible,  to avoid any unpleasant incident, the government provided the ambulance  service and rescue 1122 services to the public.  He also said that polio  team and security personnel are fighting against polio, polio workers  are being provided security, he said.  People involved in demaging   national property are being identified and according to the law strict  action will be taken against them.

Moreover Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Minister for information Shaukat Ali Yousufzai has  said that the people of Shangla have given him the vote to serve the  people and solve the problems of Shangla.  Shangla Campus of  Swat  University is one step towards serving the people of Shangla.  All the  deprivations of Shangla, including health and basic needs, will be  eliminated. 

He expressed his views in meeting with various delegation from Shangla in his office.  The delegation talked with the provincial

minister about the ongoing development work in the area and informed  about the problems of the area.

Shaukat Yousafzai assured the delegation  that his struggle for providing   school, health facilities and basic  needs to everyone union council will continue because Shangla’s people  have voted for the end of 35 years of deprivation.

He said that jobs in  Shangla are very low and most people are working in coal mines, to  create more employment opportunities in Shangla government in promoting  tourism.  To provide more job opportunities for educated youth, Chief  Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa  Mahmood Khan announced the establishment of  Zone 6.  The delegation thanked Shaukat Yousafzai for ensuring the  various development schemes for Shangla and creating Zone six from Chief  Minister.
