KARACHI (Online): Sindh High Court (SHC) has extension in the interim bails of co-accused of PPP leader and former Petroleum Minister, Dr. Asim Hussain in corruption reference worth Rs 462 billion.
The hearing of the case was at Sindh High Court on Thursday. During the hearing, NAB adopted stance that the accused misused their powers while solid proofs also exist.
The court warned the NAB that petitions were pending since 2016 and urged the NAB to complete arguments.
The Court made it clear that no further delay would be tolerated. SHC extending interim bails of accused Ijaz Chaudhry, Azhar Hussain, Safdar Hussain and Abdul Majid instructed NAB prosecutor and investigation officer to ensure attendance during the next hearing.
