Sheikh Rashid says ‘No chance of presidential system in country’

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Wednesday said that there is no chance of presidential system in the country.

Addressing a press conference, Sheikh Rashid clarified that emergency, no confidence motion, deal or any sort of relaxation is out of question.

The interior minister said that Nawaz Sharif fled country through a fake medical report and is still residing in London on a fake report. It is now being said that PML-N supremo couldn’t get treatment due to coronavirus while opposition is asking people of Pakistan to throng to federal capital amid the pandemic, he added.

He further said that Imran Khan is leaving for an important visit to China where he will discuss China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and other matters of mutual interest.

Sheikh Rashid also announced that his Saudi counterpart will visit Pakistan on February 7 and will hold important meetings with President and Prime Minister.
