Shilpa Shetty all set to make a comeback on big screen

MUMBAI: Shilpa Shetty is all set to make a comeback on the big screen after a gap of twelve years. The actress was last seen in Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby Deol starrer Apne (2007). Before jetting off on a holiday with family, Shilpa has green lit filmmaker Aziz Mirza’s son Haroon directorial debut film, which is being produced by Ramesh Taurani. Diljit Dosanjh and Yami Gautam have already been signed on for the untitled comedy. Shilpa will be seen portraying a writer.

As per sources of a leading portal, “Shilpa plays a writer in the film. After a month-long holiday in London and Greece, she returns to Mumbai in the first week of August and will immediately start shooting for the film. She is really excited for the film.”

Producer Ramesh Taurani revealed that the film is one of the last scripts written by Hera Pheri and BhoolBhulaiya screenplay writer NeerajVora, who passed away in 2017.

Shilpa Shetty may have not done films for a long time but she was never away from her fans and the limelight. The actress is a judge on a popular dance reality show. She is also very active on social media, where she connects with her fans on a regular basis.
