Simmba continues to rule at box-office in its second week

MUMBAI: The Indian audience love cop movies. It has been proven in the past with films like Dabangg, Rowdy Rathode, Singham and now taking that legacy forward, Ranveer Singh’s Simmba is ruling the roost at the theatres. Surpassing Ranveer Singh’s Bajirao Mastani to become his second highest grosser already, Simmba Is having a fantastic second weekend, earning Rs. 13.32 crores at the ticket counter on its second Saturday. This has brought the total of the film to Rs. 173.15 crores in just 9 days.

Simmba stars Sara Ali Khan opposite Ranveer and the hunky Sonu Sood as a very fine antagonist. It is also Rohit Shetty’s 8th film to cross the 100 crore mark. Simmba is expected to grow more on Sunday and cross the 200 crore mark in the coming week.
