Sindh govt announces public holiday on Nov 4

KARACHI: The Sindh Government has announced a holiday on November 4 to commemorate the urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai.

According to a notification by Sindh government, all government offices will remain close on the day. Educational institutes will also be closed to mark the urs of the saint.

Thousands of devotees pay homage to the great mystic poet and participate in the Urs celebrations.

Adequate arrangements are made to facilitate the visitors who pay homage to the Sufi saint and stringent security measures are undertaken to avoid any untoward incident.
