Sindh govt fails to arrest “chalawa” (knife-attacker): Farooq Sattar

KARACHI (Online): Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan Dr Farooq Sattar said that increasing attacks by chalawa (knife attacker) in Karachi has triggered unrest in the city as the Sindh government failed to arrest knife-wielding suspect so far.

While talking to media outside the court on Thursday he suggested that the Sindh government should accept its failure and introduce a “Chowkidari system’’ at Mohalla level.

Faroof Sattar said that more than 150 MQM workers were missing adding it is the people’s right to know about their beloved missing and meet them.

MQM Pakistan said that “he and Amir Khan have recorded their statements”.

He said that “we had announced our disassociation from MQM London adding now we have no connection with it”.

While talking to Nawaz Sharif disqualification he stressed for implementing court verdict.

Farooq Sattar said billion of rupees embezzlement should be investigated adding if quota system has been abolished then why the government is not implementing it.

He said that reservations over the census are creating unrest in the people.
