Sindh govt likely to ban plastic bags
KARACHI: Sindh government will likely to ban the plastic bags with the aim to control the pollution in the province.
According to reports, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah will chair a provincial cabinet meeting on Monday and the cabinet will discuss setting up a desalination plant to address the water crisis in Karachi as well as matters pertaining to the Sindh Revenue Board and appointment of judges in anti-terrorism courts.
A ban on plastic bags will also be considered during the meeting.
The new Sindh cabinet was sworn in on August 19, with eight ministers and two advisers taking oath in the first phase of the cabinet formation.
