KARACHI: Sindh government has filed a review petition against the anti-encroachment campaign in Karachi on the directives of Supreme Court, on Friday.
According to reports, anti-encroachment operation is alarming as several people have become unemployed as a result of the operation; Sindh government took a stance in plea.
The government sources said that the shopkeepers affected in the ongoing operation against encroachments will be provided alternate sources for livelihood.
It was also added that a comprehensive plan has been devised for it and Sindh government will carry out the operation in a batter way without hearting any citizen.
Earlier, on December 1, the Sindh Cabinet in its meeting, had approved a proposal to file a review petition against the anti-encroachment drive that is full swing in the metropolitan.
