Sindh Govt taking measures to address issues related to public transportation

KARACHI: Sharjeel Inam Memon, the Minister of Information, Transport, and Mass Transit of Sindh, has announced that the Sindh government is swiftly taking measures to address the issues related to public transportation in the province. The government is committed to providing the citizens with excellent, affordable, and comfortable transport facilities.

During a press conference held in Karachi, Sharjeel Inam Memon expressed that the Transport Department has formally requested the Sindh Cabinet to allocate 500 new People’s Buses. The government is optimistic about the approval of this request by the Cabinet.

Sharjeel Inam Memon emphasized the urgency of addressing the shortage of public transport and stated that the Sindh government is committed to swiftly resolving the issues faced by the public. In line with this objective, the government is launching the People’s Taxi Service to provide affordable and comfortable transportation options to the citizens, efforts will continue to enhance the existing transport facilities for further improvement.

During an awareness message concerning public health, Sharjeel Inam Memon alerted the public about the re-emergence of the Nigelaria virus. He advised caution when performing ablution and pouring water into the nose, as scholars had previously emphasized the importance of being careful during the spread of the Nigelaria virus. Sharjeel Inam Memon requested the media’s assistance in spreading awareness about this vital public service message.

Sharjeel Inam Memon, the Information Minister, said that it would be difficult for Imran Khan to evade legal consequences, Imran Khan tried to prevent his own interview from being aired, he confessed to his crime during his interview, before this Imran Khan consistently conducted interviews according to his will, the questions as well as answers were according to his will.

The Minister of Information expressed that Imran Khan has become aware of the growing strength of the narrative against him, leading him to resort to making threats in order to protect himself. It is now apparent that Imran Khan is adopting an adversarial stance against the state and its institutions in order to evade legal action, Imran Khan has consistently presented varying narratives. it is important for Imran Khan to understand that the state, the nation, the country, and its institutions stand united.

Sharjeel Inam Memon said that Imran Khan was forcibly imposed on the country, and given the nature of his threatening interviews, there seems to be no possibility for constructive dialogue with him, Imran Khan’s threats are not merely aimed at the government but rather at the state itself.

In response to a question, Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon stated that the Ministry of Interior should pursue legal action following Imran Khan’s interviews.
When asked, he commented that Imran Khan consistently bites the hand that feeds him, he speaks against those who have supported him.

He mentioned that the Sindh government provided relief packages to the people during Ramadan.

During a question-and-answer session, Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon revealed that the members of a Party had previously beaten Imran Khan in Punjab University and now approached him to seek support for the mayoral candidacy in Karachi.
