Siraj urges India to pull out its troops from IOK

TIMERGARA:  Jamaat-i-Islami chief and senator Siraj ul Haq has said that Kashmir issue could not be resolved through talks and there would be more wars until Kashmiris were given their right of self determination.

He was addressing a party workers’ gathering at Ahya ul Uloom here on Saturday night. The JI chief also turbaned 20 graduates of ‘Khatm e Bukhari Sharief’ on the occasion.

Former MPA and JI district emir Izaz ul Mulk Afkari, Maulana Hidayatullah and others also addressed the gathering.

The JI chief said that Pulwama like incidents would be occurred till the India withdrew its troops from the Indian Held Kashmir. He said the government of Pakistan freed the Indian captive pilot in hurry which is beyond understanding.

“The Kashmiri Mujahideen have been fighting for their right to self determination,” Siraj ul Haq said, adding Kashmiris could be no more be enslaves on gun point. If India withdraws its 700,000 troops from Kashmir then there would be no suicide blasts and attacks in India, he added.

Mr Haq asked Ulema and seminaries’ students to work objectively for ending ignorance and illiteracy. He said the western powers were targeting Ulema and religious seminaries in order to westernize Islamic societies in the world. He said a pious, honest and true leadership in Pakistan could steer the country out of crises.
