LANDI KOTAL: Six Coronovirus suspected Afghan nationals entering into Pakistan via Torkham border were negated to cross in and deported them here on Friday.
The official sources in Torkham told that the six Afghan nationals, coming into Pakistan through Torkham from Kabul had travelled to China and the immigration officials at Torkham border in suspection of Covid19, refused them to cross in the country and deported them.
The health department positioned its staff at Torkham border for screening of all pedestrians and transporters entering into Pakistan and directed by the health highups to have close vigilance at all passengers crossing into Pakistan by way of Torkham border.
In addition, due to menace of coronavirus sports festival organized by directorate of sports and to be scheduled to hold on 14 March, 2020 at Hamza Baba complex ground was also postponed for indefinite time, district sport manger informed.
Meanwhile the provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa keeping in view of Covid 19, shut down all government and private schools for 15 days, and postponed the Senior School Certificate (SSC) exams till further order.
