PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has limited his meeting with officials after six employees of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister’s House tested positive for coronavirus on Thursday.
It has also been announced that a coronavirus test for all the CM House employees was mandatory.
A complete ban has also been imposed on the visitors to the KP CM House.
The CM has also limited his meetings with elected representatives and all the routing official meetings will be held through video link.
It is to be notified that during the past 24 hours (Wednesday), the provincial government recorded 1,044 new infections after conducting 8,672 tests, a positivity ratio of 12.04 percent.
Overall, the confirmed cases in the province have climbed to 88,099. It recorded 21 new deaths, raising toll to 2,363, while its recoveries have risen by 408 to 76,640. There are currently 9,096 active cases of COVID-19 in the province.
