Six injured in LPG explosion

SHEIKHUPURA: At least six people including a firefighter were injured as a result of an LPG bowser explosion at a gas plant on Lahore Road here, Sunday.

The blaze engulfed three oil tankers, two trucks, two cars and two adjacent factories as well. The inferno has been doused by four fire tenders. The incident occurred during refilling – cost damage worth millions of rupees. Explosions in plant could be heard at regular intervals. The injured persons were shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital.
