Six killed in Drone strike in Khost

KHOST: At least six militants of Taliban were killed in drone strike of NATO led forces in Khost province of Afghanistan.

Major Abdullah, Spokesman of Afghan Army in Khost Province said that Foreign forces fired rocket from aircraft on the a car in Zanikhel area of Nadar Shahkot district in which six Taliban fighters were killed and injured one. He added that the local commander identified as Jihad Shah was also died and they were involved in several attacks on the security forces and others.

The residents of the area confirmed the drone strike and adding that all the people travelling in the car were killed and their bodies were handed over to the relatives.

The Taliban group has not commented on the incident.
