Six Taliban killed in Uruzgan

TARINKOT: Six Taliban have been killed in foreign forces air strike, a reliable source said on Thursday. A well-placed source at the Police Headquarters said that foreign forces fighter jets bombarded the Taliban positions on the outskirts of Tarinkot, the provincial capital.

Six Taliban, including the groups Commander Mullah Ghazi, had been killed and three other injured in the airstrike. Malak Zainullah, a senior police official, told Pajhwok News the airstrike conducted in the Nachin area. No civilian had been harmed in the airstrike.

He added the Taliban light and heavy weapons had been destroyed in the bombardment. The Taliban have not commented about the incident.
