MUMBAI: Sanjay Leela Bhansali is gearing up for his next project starring Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt titled Inshallah. But the cinema genius is also working on another project, Gangubai.
A lot has already been spoken about the film as rumours started long back that SLB wanted to collaborate with Priyanka Chopra on this film. However, none of the two parties admitted to the same. But during a recent interview to a leading daily, SLB revealed that he has been in talks with PeeCee for that project.
He said, “ I love the story, it’s been with me for long and I’m keen to make the film. Priyanka and I are in talks.”
Reportedly, Gangubai was one of the most dreaded pimps of Kamathipura, Mumbai’s red light area.
Well, we can’t wait for her to sign on the dotted line soon. Until then, deets about SLB’s Inshallah are keeping us on our toes.
