Smog fiasco: Punjab govt changes schools timings

LAHORE (INP): The Punjab government has changed the timings of educational institutions from tomorrow (Wednesday) due to smog that has engulfed the province.

Provincial Minister for Education said that the problem being faced by the students attending the schools was discussed at a meeting under Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif yesterday.

He said a meeting of the education ministry on Tuesday decided to change the timings. He said the schools would open at 9 AM and close at 2.30 PM.
