Smuggling bids foiled

PESHAWAR: The security forces foiled drugs smuggling bids and arrested two during separate actions in different areas of the provincial capital on Monday.

The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) during action at Bacha Khan International Airport Peshawar, recovered 150 heroin filled capsules (390gm ice heroin) from stomach of a passenger leaving for Sharjah through a private airline flight.

Another drugs pusher identified as Jehanzeb was held after recovery of two kilogram hashish during search of a vehicle at Motorway Toll Plaza in Peshawar.

Separate investigation in both incidents was kicked off.
