PESHAWAR: A soldier of Pakistan was killed and another soldier was injured when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blasted in Chamarkand area of Mohmand Agency on Friday.
As per security official, the martyred soldier was killed on his way to Security check-post after getting water for fellows soldiers when while carrying water for his fellow soldiers. The injured soldier was shifted to a nearby hospital after the incident.
Earlier, in March this year, as many as five soldiers embraced martyrdom after thwarting terrorist attack on three border check-posts in Mohmand Agency.
