Somalia: Old bomb kills at least 27 people, mostly children

MOGADISHU: According to the Somali National News Agency, at least 27 individuals, mostly children, lost their lives after remnants of an old bomb detonated

As per reports, the explosion took place in the Murale village in the Janaale area of the eastern Lower Shabelle region.

At least 53 people have also been injured in the blast.

Reports added that the unexploded shells – with which children were playing– were used by the waring factions in Somalia.
