Special arrangements being made for facilitation, security of tourists

MINGORA: The district administration Swat is making special arrangements for facilitation and security of expected tourists from across the country to the scenic valley during Eid ul Fitr holidays. Chairman District Development Advisory Committee (DDAC) Fazl Hakim Khan chairing a meeting of the district administration here said that comprehensive measures would be put in place to facilitate the tourists and make them feel at home.

He said in order to facilitate the local commuters and tourists the traffic police under the supervision of dig Malakand and DPO would ensure smooth flow of traffic during the Eid holidays. The meeting was informed that a great number of tourists are expected this season to visit Swat valley due to improve security situation and more arrangements by the provincial and district governments.

On the occasion chairman DDAC said that Sadiu Sharif airport would soon be opened for the public and tourists that would help promote tourism He said the country was passing through a challenging situation but the government was taking sincere measures to steer the country out of all crisis, adding the time is not far when the nation would be witnessing development and prosperity.
