Speedster Haris Rauf becomes honorary DSP of Islamabad police

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani speedster Haris Rauf has been appointed an honorary officer of the Islamabad police.

A ceremony was also held in honour of the right-arm pacer in the federal capital and it was attended by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Akbar Nasir Khan and other officers.

During the ceremony, the capital police honoured Haris Rauf with the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP).

Earlier, young pacer Naseem Shah was made honorary DSP by the Balochistan police while Shaheen Shah Afridi was honoured with the same rank by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police.
