Sports activities must for healthy society: Shafiullah

KARAK: Deputy Commissioner, Shafiullah Khan has said that co-curricular activities were the reflection of healthy society and asked the students to take active part in the sport activities.

He was addressing to the concluding ceremony of annual sport gala on primary level at government girls primary school Makoori as a chief guest here on Friday. Assistant Commissioner Mir Hawas Khan, District Education Officer (female) Karak Nargis Jamal and focal person of the sport gala Assistant District Officer (ADO-Education) Shamim Khattak was also present on the occasion. Deputy Commissioner Karak further said that co-curricular activities were the part of education and it creates the spirit of competition among the students. He appreciated the performance of the tinny souls and the female students on the occasion presented sketches, taboos and other sport activities which were much appreciated by the audience. Shafi stressed that the students should be trained on modern line to make them prepare for the competitions on country level. He claimed that today generation was the future of the country and no stone should be left unturned in their better education and training.

Deputy Commissioner claimed that sport activities polish the dormant qualities of the students and inculcate the spirit of competition among them. He extended all out support to education department on behalf of district administration and added that they would encourage the co-curricular activities in the district. He highly appreciated the performances of the female students on primary level and claimed that he was pleased to see the little kids by performing so much in better way. He also appreciated the performance of the focal person ADO Shamim Khattak by arranging such a beautiful program. Earlier the DEO-Female Nargas Jamal welcomed the Deputy Commissioner Karak for sparing some time to attend the concluding ceremony of the annual sport gala of primary schools and appreciated his spirit by taking keen interest in the sport gala of littler girls. At the end of the ceremony DC awarded commendation certificate to Shamim Khattak.
