PESHAWAR: The City School organized a day long sports gala for it’s Hayatabad nursery branch aimed at providing sports activities for the children.
A large number of children and their parents participated in the event while scores of interested children took part in different games including 100 meter race, tug of war and others and showed their performance.
Fazal Hussain Khalil, an international karate player and physical trainer was chief guest on the occasion while the City School principal Farhana Hamid was also present who distributed trophies among position holders children.
Speaking on the occasion Fazal Hussain said that it is a good step taken by the school principal as provision of sports activities more mandatory to children along with curriculum activities.
He said that these children are assets of our country and will perform in future in different institutions.
Principal Farhana said that it is our prime responsibility to guide these children adding that school is providing quality education and also learn them good manners.
