PESHAWAR: District Nazim, Mohammad Asim Khan has directed the formation of a special squad to demolish constructions made in violation of the maps. The directives were issued during a meeting of Building Control Authority (BCA) held here with District Nazim in the chair.
Those who attended were included chairman, BCA Town-I, District Councilor Mohammad Asif Khan, District Councilor, Aftab Ahmad, Executive Engineer, Rasheedullah and Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO). The meeting reviewed maps received by the Town-I and approved 11, which were fulfilling rules and regulations while 19 not fulfilling the criteria were rejected.
The meeting decided that the formation of a special squad headed by EXN Rasheedullah to demolish constructions made in violation of the maps with immediate effect. The squad will carried out demolition of such constructions within the limits of Town-I on daily basis. Addressing the meeting, District Nazim, Mohammad Asim Khan directed both the chairman BCA and EXN for visiting bazaars on daily basis and demolition of constructions made in violation of maps.
He said that such kind of special squads will be constituted in all four towns of the district, which will demolish all constructions made in violation of the maps.
