SRK to start prep for Rakesh Sharma’s biopic in US
MUMBAI: Shah Rukh Khan is an actor who never shies away from taking risks. He took a huge gamble with his home production Ra.One and even though it didn’t pay off, he’s still kept at it and is trying to surprise the audience with his films like Fan and now, Zero. In Zero, he will be seen as a vertically challenged man who is full of life. After the release of this film, he will begin working on the Rakesh Sharma biopic. The film is tentatively titled Saare Jahan Se Acha.
A report in a leading daily claims that the superstar will begin the prep for this mega project in the United States. For the role, the actor will have to get accustomed to extreme conditions, which astronauts often face in space.
The film was supposed to go on floors in September, but got postponed since Shah Rukh Khan was occupied with promotions of Zero. A source close to the project revealed, “SRK’s dates for Salute are yet to be locked. After the dates are finalised and the cast has been signed on, the film’s makers will make an official announcement.”
Initially, the film was supposed to star Aamir Khan in lead but he passed up on it. In fact, it was Aamir Khan who had recommend that Shah Rukh Khan will be a perfect fit for the role.
