ISLAMABAD: Student leaders condemned the recent announcement of Ministry of Education and Training regarding conduct of annual exams in the country. The student leaders Mr. Hammar Satti, Hammar Imran and Abdul Muqeet shared their concerns regarding upcoming annual examination during a news conference in Islamabad on Saturday. They said the government has endangered the future of 4 million students across the country.

The student leaders said that the government must schedule online annual examination in August with 50 percent syllabus because students have covered only 50 syllabi through online classes during the current educational year. They informed the media men that the students have attended the physical classes for 45 days only throughout the year.

The student leaders observed that students could not prepare for the exams and the government suddenly announced the timeline for it, which led to great worries and embarrassment in the students. They said that the ministry of education must lesson the grievances of the students and resolve their problems.

The student leader appealed to the government particularly Federal Minister for Education and Training Shafqat Mahmood to consider the concern of the students and postpone the annual examination up to August this year so students can prepare for the exams.

They also demanded vaccination of the students prior to the examination. Furthermore, the annual exams must be online with 50 percent syllabus, Otherwise the students will observe countrywide protest against government’s decision.
